We are using HP BL25p blades with 2 dual core AMD CPUs, 8 GB of RAM, 2 36GB 15K U320 drives in a mirror set. There are some interesting articles about how quad CPU scales in x64 and the additional memory is for scaling up inside of out (like the good old days of x32!).

We publish 6 apps, no desktops. One of the apps is a memory pig, so x64 should help out a lot in this area. We were going to go with 16GB of RAM, but $ of 2GB sticks at the time of purchase was high.
