Symptoms
Users cannot download published content from a Web Interface 4.5 site. A splash screen may appear, but a pop-up blocker sound can be heard and users are not prompted to download published content.
Cause
Web Interface 4.5 has increased security compared to earlier Web Interface versions. In Web Interface 4.5, it is not possible to see the direct path to published content (for example, \\server\foldername\filename.exe) as it is in earlier Web Interface versions.
Resolution
Add the Web Interface 4.5 site to the Trusted sites list in your Internet browser (located under Tools > Internet Options > Security for Internet Explorer) on the local workstation.

-Or-
Enable the Automatic prompting for file downloads option on the local workstation under Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level > Downloads (for Internet Explorer).

This issue will be resolved.
