The following issues were found while testing Windows 2003 Service Pack 1.
Issues
1. The SpeedScreen Browser Acceleration feature does not function when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. 2. IM Packager causes a fatal error when trying to perform an installation recording when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. 3. Published application sessions take 60 seconds to log off when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 and Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. 4. Internet Explorer in ICA sessions on a 64-bit Windows 2003 Server terminate with the error, “The application failed to initialize properly," when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP, MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, and Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. 5. Applications do not launch properly when the SpeedScreen Latency Reduction option is set to on and Local Text Echo is enabled in the ICA client with Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. 6. The ICABAR.exe does not launch during an administrator login to the desktop when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. 7. Pass-through Authentication fails for Smart Cards when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP, MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, and Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. 8. Microsoft Internet Explorer fails over ICA when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP Feature Release 3. 9. MetaFrame Conference Organizer has a fatal error on first startup after Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP and MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. 10. Client and Server default beep is not working properly when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on Citrix MetaFrame XP Feature Release 3, MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, and Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. 11. During upgrades through the Service Pack 1 Setup GUI, there is a message stating “Replacement Logon Software” may not be usable when Windows 2003, Service Pack 1 is installed on MetaFrame XP, MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and MetaFrame Password Manager. Additional Information
Concentrated testing occurred with all products in the MetaFrame Access Suite and with betas, release candidates, and RTM versions of Windows 2003 Service Pack 1. The issues above were found by Citrix during this testing.
