Software direct AGAIN!!!!

Yet another mug here!! but will be visiting '355 London Road, Reading RG1 3PB' with a few investigating gentlemen! tracking from the IP address to see, yes it's only £54 quid but it's the principle. Good news if you're covered on your credit card you should get the money back. Wouldn't it be good ....15 mins- 1 room these scammers and us, can I take a hammer!!???

Software deals direct may be trading under a new name!

I also ordered MSo2007 at a knock down price and they took payment on my card on 20th May and needless to say no goods have arrived, no response to e-mails (they bounce back), web site now off-line! However, my credit card statement gave a telephone number of 0870 9740823 and a new web site no response to telephone (well there's a surprise) but the web site eventually leads to a new software site with cheap deals at "softwaretech" again no telephone number to call - these guys need stopping! My credit card company is sending me a form to claim the money back.

Angry Oldduffer1

I also ordered a copy of Office Professional from this site and have had the usual response (i.e. None!). I originally reached this Site through Amazon "Sponsored Links" and would never have used it otherwise. It appears that Amazon, that great name which we know and love!, takes money from sales made through these links but is not prepared to take any responsibility for them! (To be fair communication with them is on-going). Best of luck with locating these jokers and carrying out appropriate action!

Mr

I have also fallen victim to softwaredealsdirect fraudulent activities to the tune of £69.99.
I will report the matter to the police for investigations and to smoke out such unscrupulous scoundrels from our society.

Unhappy Issue reported

Sadly I have to admit to being another caught by this - at my age I should have known better!! I should have remembered the saying, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!".

Ah well, we live & learn no matter our age. For those of you have wish to report these people to the police (if you haven't already) or are chasing a refund via your credit card (at least I had the sense to pay with that!) - quote the crime reference "AA3117569/08" - this will enable all forces to co-ordinate the complaints from those affected.

Good luck - it is another case of "I wish I had seen this site before I bought!!...."

Cool

Any luck in locating these people and having a "polite chat"? I am sure all victims would be interested to hear.

Hi,
I was also robbed by this company. I cancelled my order within two hours of putting it through and was told they didn't have an order with my order number on it, which I took off the email sent to me confirming it...then I received one two days later saying the order has now been found and I will receive my MS Office Pro in the next so many days...as I paid by Switch, I've no recompense for the loss of £64 including P&P...I never received anything from them then they disappeared...I've found no way so far of putting in a claim to get my money back...I wonder if anybody else knows if this company has been taken to court for fraud?
Cheers,
Jenray
