This article describes the installation behavior for Hotfix Rollup Packs for Presentation Server 4.0.
Hotfix Rollup Pack for Presentation Server 4.0 Install Behavior
1. Files contained in Presentation Server 4.0 hotfixes and hotfix rollup packs are not getting updated properly on servers with the Citrix Health Check Agent tool installed. For more information, see CTX108448

2. Depending on the base Presentation Server installation, it may be possible to install this package on Presentation Server for Windows 2000 Server. This is because a check for the operating system version is not performed. This configuration is not supported and should be avoided. [#128763]
3. Depending on the base Presentation Server installation, it may be possible to install this package on an international version of Presentation Server for Windows Server 2003. This is because a check for the operating system or Presentation Server language is not performed. This configuration is not supported and should be avoided. [#128800]
4. If Conferencing Manager is installed on a server with existing Presentation Server hotfixes/hotfix rollup packs, users are sometimes incorrectly prompted for the source CD when launching Conferencing Manager for the first time. In addition, users sometimes cannot properly uninstall Presentation Server hotfixes/hotfix rollup packs from that server. See CTX108342

5. When upgrading to Citrix Access Essentials 1.5 from a Citrix Access Essentials 1.0 system with Hotfix Rollup Pack 2 for Presentation Server 4.0 installed, the following behavior is seen:

7. Management Console files are not updated by Presentation Server 4.0hotfixes or hotfix rollup packs if the console is not selected as a component of MPS.msi during the installation. Refer to CTX110826

8. Installation Manager for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 occasionally reports failure to deploy hotfixes and hotfix rollup packs even though the jobs succeed. Refer to CTX110827

9. Certain hotfixes and hotfix rollup packs that contain Fix #127504 force the server to communicate with the data store by automatically setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\IMA\Runtime\PSR equired to 1. Refer to CTX110831
